Capability - Health and Performance

Under-performance, whatever the reason, causes difficulties within the team.  This one day course looks at how to support your employee as far as is reasonable to achieve acceptable levels of capability, wherever possible, and how to manage those who are unable to perform to acceptable levels.

Target audience

This course is suitable for managers responsible for dealing with performance or health capability issues and HR professionals who advise on or undertake such casework.

A basic understanding of HR and employment practice would be beneficial in order to get the most from this course. This could be from previous experience or through attending our People Management – Law and Practice course.

This course also serves as a useful refresher and update for the more experienced manager or HR professional.

"...all fascinating and thought-provoking. Made me challenge my own style of management to be more accepting of other people's perceptions" - Jo Whitcombe, Burgess Hill TC
