SEE Cancellation and Non Attendance Policy

SEE has a cancellation policy for open events, in house training and consultancy. There is also a separate non-attendance policy for open events.

Please note that there is also a cancellation and non attendance charge for some of our Network meetings and free events.

Details of the policy in each circumstance can be found below.

This policy applies to all SEE open training courses, workshops, conference and other events.

Sending someone else in your place

Substitution nominations will be accepted in all cases without incurring any additional charges. All substitute delegates should be confirmed in writing to info@seemp.co.uk.

Cancellation of a place

Cancellations received within 14 days prior to the event will incur a charge of 100% per delegate to cover costs. This will be invoiced to you direct after the event. Cancellations received over 14 days will incur no charge. All cancellations should be confirmed in writing to info@seemp.co.uk.

We will confirm in writing that you have cancelled your place.

Non-attendance

Non-attendance on the day will incur a charge of 100% of the course fee per delegate to cover costs.

Cancellation by SEE

SEE reserves the right to cancel an open training course, workshop, conference or event for any reason prior to the event date. We will contact you as soon as possible to tell you about the cancellation.  If you have already paid a fee then we will refund the money. We will not be liable for any other costs of your attending the training course, workshop, conference or event.

This cancellation policy applies to in-house training activities, consultancy, coaching and mentoring assignments booked with or through SEE. When entering into a commitment to provide an in-house training course or consultancy assignment, SEE will undertake to deliver the work to the specification and quality standards of the commissioning organisation.

Once a date has been agreed for the delivery of the work our standard cancellation policy will apply.

  • If an event is cancelled within 30 working days of the booked date there will be a cancellation charge of 50% of the agreed fee.
  • If an event is cancelled within 15 working days of the booked date there will be a cancellation charge of 100% of the agreed fee.
  • If an event is rescheduled at the time of cancellation to take place within six months of the original date, no cancellation fee will be charged.
  • If the event does not take place on the rescheduled date cancellation fees will be charged. No further re-scheduling of the date will be accepted.

Where a number of dates have been agreed for the delivery of the work then the appropriate cancellation charge will be applied for each individual date.

All cancellations should be confirmed in writing to info@seemp.co.uk

Cancellation by SEE

If the consultant assigned to undertake an in-house training course or piece of consultancy is unable to deliver the work, SEE will endeavour to find a replacement consultant at no additional expense to your organisation. However, in some circumstances it may be necessary to withdraw from the piece of work. In these circumstances, provided we have given you at least five working days notice of the cancellation, we will not be liable for any costs incurred by your organisation associated with the piece of work.

This policy applies to all networks and free SEE events.
