SEE is pleased to be working with other Regional Employers in order to provide this pay benchmarking facility to all participating Councils in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

epaycheck is an on-line 'real time' pay benchmarking facility developed by local government for local government. It is simple and easy to use, enables bulk data upload, provides anonymised reports in the way you want to receive them and the data is secure. Most of the work has been done for you through job templates, but there is flexibility to add new roles if necessary. Once you have signed up and entered sufficient data to populate the system, reports will be available to download. Through epaycheck you can generate user defined reports with invaluable and specific benchmarking data at the click of a button. There are standard reports set up on the system readily available for your use, should they meet your needs. The more Councils that join the scheme, the more efficient the information sharing will be for participating Councils.

SEE has worked with other regional employers' organisations to bring you this service. Please take a few minutes to look at the website www.epaycheck.org.uk where you will find all the information you need about epaycheck and the benefits to you and your Council. Member councils receive the service at a highly subsidised rate, with the fee for 2017/2018 being £300. This includes a small charge to contribute towards administration/training costs. The costs remain low to encourage local authorities and other members of local government to contribute and deliver this service to each other. Councils that are not in membership of their regional employer will pay £1200 per annum - however this is still a subsidised rate for local authorities.

SEE will support you in getting started and show you how to upload your data and thereafter run your reports. After the initial submission of data it is a matter of regularly updating your records to ensure that the system is working on 'real time' information and therefore any reports you run will be current and relevant to your needs.

epaycheck is a subscription service and the current fee is £300 per year. This arrangement will continue until March 2019, when a new Agreement will be entered into for the following three years.
