We have an exciting job opportunity within our Winchester office for a Business Development Manager. We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated team player to work within our small but busy team of consultants. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and an awareness of working in a commercial environment where customer care and high quality service delivery is essential.
The role is to manage the business and administration of SEE, co-ordinate the services we provide, raise our visibility to ensure we are demonstrating value in how we respond to current and emerging customer needs.
Working closely with our Consultants and Digital and Communications Manager and our IT and Financial service providers, you will identify and develop opportunities to grow our business in an increasingly competitive environment.
The ability to manage and support projects including regional events, workshops and training activities, liaising with external partners and customers, to generate income will be a key part of the role.
You will be confident in communicating with a range of customers and service providers including senior managers, professionals, councillors, external agencies and also with our SEE Associate Consultants. This includes responding to conflicting demands to deliver a high quality service.
Strong IT skills are essential, including experience in use of Office 365 and Sharepoint where accuracy and attention to detail are critical. Developing and implementing administrative systems and procedures are also key to supporting our business.
An understanding of the public sector environment is desirable.
